On behalf of myself, our Flag Officers, Board Members and our membership, I am pleased to welcome you to the web site of The Rhode Island Yacht Club. The goals of the Rhode Island Yacht Club have always been to bring the pleasure of boating and the wonderful friendships that this club has to offer to as many people as possible. Our web site is a communication tool to help achieve these goals. We are Rhode Island’s oldest Yacht Club (1875) and in the top 30 oldest in North America.
Our club is open year-round and offers food and beverage 5 days a week while enjoying the best views on the bay. Whether you are a member of a reciprocal yacht club interested in visiting us or a potential new member interested in joining our club, I invite you to visit and see why RIYC is a great destination in Rhode Island.
