We have several forms of membership available, including active, social, and young adult. The newly renovated Clubhouse features panoramic views of Narragansett Bay and offers both formal and informal dining. The Club operates year-round, with racing, cruises, inter-club events and many other social activities too numerous to mention.
If you think you may be interested in joining the Rhode Island Yacht Club, please fill out the form below, including the type and length of boat, if any, you own. You do not need to own a boat to be a member!

Active Membership
For individuals aged 21 and over who wish to have full rights and privileges at the Club. Active Members may apply for a slip or mooring, may utilize the Club's satellite moorings, and attend, participate in, and vote in General and Special Membership Meetings. Boat ownership is not required to be an Active Member.
Junior Membership
For individuals between the ages of 12 and 20 years old, and may participate in junior boat races and club activities, subject to certain restrictions outlined in the Club's By-Laws.
Social Membership
For individuals aged 21 years and over who wish to utilize the clubhouse and facilities and participate in Club activities and events. Social Members may not maintain a slip or mooring, attend or participate in General or Special Membership Meetings, and may not hold Club office. Social Members may visit the club with their boat on a transient basis.
Young Adult Membership
For individuals between the ages of 21 and 35 years old, and are afforded all of the same rights and privileges as Active Members while receiving certain discounts on membership and initiation fees.
