Dining

    The Rhode Island Yacht Club provides our Members and their guests with an exceptional and diverse menu of favorites.

    Our Galley Pub in the Members' Lounge serves refreshing drinks and delicious food Wednesday through Sunday, year around (special situations excepting). Our menu always has something for everyone, including many gluten free and vegetarian options.

    Our kitchen team have put together a great selection of items for both our Pub Menu and our Friday night dinners.  Each Friday, our Commodore Room is transformed into One Ocean Avenue where you can experience the best food and views in the neighborhood.

    During the warmer months, our Members enjoy socializing on our deck or at our Tiki Bar, playing games on the lawn, or sipping a relaxing cocktail by music and moonlight at our water-side fire pit.

        Our Members' Lounge and Galley Pub are open year round serving refreshing drinks and delicious food.  Join us for a draft beer while playing a round of pool with your friends, or enjoy a game of cards while enjoying the sun and view from our wrap-around deck overlooking the Providence skyline and Narragansett Bay.

        Dress Code

        (H.R. 12) Proper attire is required in the Clubhouse at all times unless otherwise posted and formal functions shall be attended as such.  Bathing attire and male sleeveless tops are not permitted; and, shoes and shirts are required in the Clubhouse.

        Hours of operation are subject to change based on weather conditions and other limitations beyond the control of Club Management.

        Daily Specials are often available and listed on the specials board at the bar.
    • One Ocean Avenue (Open to Public with Reservations)

      • Our Friday Night One Ocean Avenue dinners are open to the public, and are a great way to experience the Club and meet our Members. Reservations are kindly requested and may be made by calling (401) 941-0220 ext. 1 or by emailing [email protected].  Members may make reservations online.

        Please note that Business Casual attire is required for dining events in our Commodore Room, and non-members are requested to park on the street or take a car service.  The RIYC parking lot is restricted to Members only.

        Hours 

        Dining hours are on Friday from 5:30PM to 8:30PM.  Reservations fill up quickly, so we apologize if your desired time is not available.

        Dress Code

        Business Casual attire is required for dining events in the Commodore Room.  Tank-style shirts, torn clothing, or sweat pants are not permitted.
