Rhode Island Yacht Club is the oldest yacht club on Narragansett Bay with a long history of yachting since the Club's founding in 1875. We occupy a contemporary facility with breakwater-protected docks and a mooring field on Stillhouse Cove in Cranston, RI, conveniently close to downtown Providence.
The marina has a hoist, break water protected slips with electricity and water, moorings, dinghy dock, launch shuttle, pump-out station, and showers and changing facilities among other amenities. There are picnic tables and gas grills for on-shore meals overlooking the bay.
The Club operates year-round, with Club racing, Club cruises, fishing tournaments, inter-club events and many other social activities too numerous to mention. The newly renovated Clubhouse features panoramic views of Narragansett Bay and offers both formal and informal dining. The facility is available for rental upon request.
